If you happened to witness last night's BuddyTV chat session with Joel Gretsch and Patrick Fleuger of "The 4400", you know how much fun one of those TVj sessions can be (now archived here). With both stars in high spirits, their camaraderie infectious, the two hour long chat gave fans a rare peek behind the curtains of one of their favorite shows. Here are some of the things we learned from the session:

• Both Joel and Patrick are from Minnesota. Patrick, especially, can turn on a hysterically thick Minnesotan accent.
• Patrick, apparently, wears no underwear of any kind. And he likes thongs on ladies. So, you know, that's some information you might want. Not me, though.
• Patrick has a crush on Rachel McAdams (who doesn't?) and would love to work with her. Although I feel the same way, I somehow get the feeling that Patrick may have a better shot at realizing this desire.
• Joel laid the smack down on Patrick during an impromptu arm wrestling match.
• It turns out that Joel is a son-in-law of the legendary William Shatner. He praised the man highly, but curiously failed to comment on Shatner's recent Comedy Central Roast.
• Before Patrick accepted the role of Shawn on "The 4400" he had a number of other TV offers on the table. One of those was FOX's short-lived "North Shore", which everyone told him was going to be the next "OC". Wisely, he accepted his role on "The 4400" instead.
• Patrick has two tattoos, including one on his ankle written in Elvish. Yes, Elvish. He likes the "Lord of the Rings".
• Although it has recently been reported that there will be a season 4 of "The 4400", both Joel and Patrick pleaded ignorance on the subject. However, they did seem confident a fourth season would indeed come to fruition.
