Sylvia Kwan was born on August 15, 1954 in Hong Kong. Long before finally settling down in Marin County with her husband and two teenage boys, Sylvia was studying at the University of California, Berkley. She acquired both her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Architecture degree from the well-known university in the Bay Area. From there, her career took off and eventually she founded her own architectural firm in San Francisco. The interior design of the Pacific Bell Park is one of Sylvia's most notable projects. Although her husband has deemed her the "Ultimate Consumer," Sylvia unfortunately was unsuccessful in gaining the title of "Ultimate Survivor" in
Survivor: Fiji . She was voted off of the Ravu tribe after only eight days in the islands.
