The incredibly long and painful winter hiatus for Supernatural is almost over. This Friday brings "Like a Virgin," the first new episode of 2011. While the episode is about virgins in distress, the real meaning of the title is all about Sam and his recent re-soul-ification.

The last episode ended with Death putting Sam's soul back in him, along with a barrier to protect it from all the harmful damage Lucifer and Michael did to it in the cage. But is the soul still good? Cas may not be a human doctor, but he certainly has an opinion, and it's not good.



Also, check out this new trailer for Friday's episode, complete with Sam getting nasty with a random chick in a bathroom. Maybe that new soul isn't exactly the same, because that doesn't seem like a very Sam thing to do.



Supernatural airs Friday at 9pm on the CW.
