Last night on the CW, Supernatural ended its sixth season with a disappointing dip in ratings. But don't worry, because Sam and Dean will return next season for more paranormal shenanigans.

Supernatural was down 20%, with 2.21 million viewers for its two-hour season finale. In typical Supernatural fashion, the season ended on a sour note, leaving the characters in a rough situation.

Elsewhere on TV, it's slim pickings. Reruns abound as finales close out shows for the summer. And now, it's that magical, boring space between the finales of this year's seasons, and the beginnings of summer programming.

On FOX, Kitchen Nightmares did fairly well, up slightly with 3.84 million viewers. And on NBC, Friday Night Lights had 2.95 million viewers.

On CBS, Flashpoint fell 31%, with 6.68 million viewers.
