USA Network has released several video clips and a preview for the Season 2.5 premiere, "Blind-sided."
Highlights from the preview:
- "You have no idea what you passed on." -- Rachel to Mike
- Harvey wants Mike to sit out the case, but Mike says he can do it.
- Uh oh, Mike is still with his married ex-girlfriend.
- Mike goes to see a client while high.
- "How many more headaches is this kid going to cause me?" -- Jessica
- "There is such a thing as right and wrong. And, we're wrong." -- Mike
- Rachel is concerned over what Mike's been doing.
In the above clip, Harvey wants Mike to sit out the case because it could be too difficult for him given how his parents were killed. Despite Harvey's concerns, Mike does work the case causing him to deal with his parents' death.
When he finds out a crucial piece of information was withheld, Mike makes a decision that could threaten both his and Harvey's career. And, more importantly, creates a problem that will affect the firm.
In the second clip, Jessica questions Louis over his making an offer to a new associate. Even though he is now a partner, Jessica tells Louis he has to rescind the offer.
While this would seem to be punishment for his loyalty to Daniel Hardman, Jessica's reason is much more complicated and escalates even further. The issue of new associates will create a schism within the firm.
