Australian actress Claudia Lee Black was born in Sydney on October 11, 1972. She is best known for her role as Aeryn Sun on Sci-Fi’s original series Farscape. Prior to that, Black had appearances in numerous shows and movies in Australia, such as Good Guys Bad Guys and Seven Deadly Sins. Her theater credits include The World Knot for the Bicentennial Opera.

 

Vala Mal Doran is played by Claudia Black on the Sci-Fi Channel original series Stargate SG-1. Vala is a former host of the Goa’uld, a parasitic alien race. She is now a dangerous con artist with a lingering interest in Dr. Daniel Jackson.
