Tonight the Top 9 of
So You Think You Can Dance take the stage,
and we'll see if the boys keep steamrolling the girls.
SYTYCDism has
spoilers for the dances from the Top 9, and it looks like my
suggestion for doing same-sex partners was strangely prescient. However,
unlike my original idea, they're not doing it for everyone, which
should be interesting.

SYTYCD Try Same-Sex Partners?>>
SPOILER WARNING: Don't read if you don't want to know who's dancing
what with whom tonight. Adechike Torbert and Lauren Gottlieb
Hip-Hop choreographed by Dave ScottAdechike might finally screw up enough to be voted into the Bottom 3, letting the judges do what they've wanted to do all season: eliminate him.
Billy Bell and Kathryn McCormick
Contemporary choreographed by Stacey TookeyAfter last week's krumping disaster, Billy gets back to his comfort zone, and I have a feeling this could be the best dance of the night.
Ashley Galvan and Ade Obayomi
Contemporary choreographed by Dee CasparyAde makes a fantastic partner and its always great to see new choreographers, especially one who used to be a dancer on Kids Incorporated.
Lauren Froderman and Neil Haskell
Broadway choreographed by Joey DowlingThis could be a lot of fun, and I suspect Lauren will once again step up as the top female.
Melinda Sullivan and Pasha Kovalev
Salsa choreographed by Fabian SanchezCome on, how much bad luck can Melinda endure? The judges can't possibly eliminate another girl this week, but I can't imagine this being good. It's also a shame that salsa dancer Cristina Santana missed out, because this could've been her chance to shine.
Alex Wong and Twitch Boss
Hip-Hop choreographed by Tabitha and NapoleonThe only same-sex pairing of the night, I don't think it's fair because this will be a very different dance than everything else. And after last week's terrible performance, Alex could be in real trouble. I'm also curious if this was the original pair or if Comfort Fedoke was supposed to be his partner and had to drop out for some reason.
Jose Ruiz and Anya Garnis
Samba choreographed by Dmitry ChaplinDmitry is back! That's exciting, a lot more than Jose doing ballroom, which could spell his doom.
The OthersKent Boyd will be doing jazz, and there's no word on what Robert Roldan will be dancing or who their partners will be. Robert needs to dance well, because he could easily wind up in the Bottom 3 again; and if he has a bad week, the judges may be forced to cut him.
