This week marks a big shift in the plate tectonics of
So You Think You Can Dance. For the first time all season, the fates of the dancers are solely based on the votes of the home audience. The judges no longer have a say about who stays or who goes.
There weren't any guest performances tonight. Instead, we were treated a group Bollywood routine danced by all 10 finalists. Then the top five girls danced a contemporary routine choreographed by Mia Michaels, and the top five guys danced a Broadway routine choreographed by none other than executive producer Nigel Lythgoe himself.
But most importantly, we also found out which two guys and which two girls got the fewest number of votes. Although all their fates were sealed when the final vote was counted last night, all four of these dancers got another chance to dance another solo.

Here are the bottom two girls:
Comfort Fedoke
Comfort must be having a hard time coming up with fresh choreo for all the solos she's been having to dance lately. Fortunately for her, America wants to keep her around, so we'll be seeing her for at least one more week of So You Think You Can Dance.
Kherington Payne
Kherington was not so lucky. She got the fewest votes and was eliminated tonight. She started the competition so well and had some really wonderful routines that she should be very proud of, but lately, she seemed to wilt under the pressure.
And here are the bottom two guys:
Mark Kanemura
I'm hard-pressed to say whether I want any of the top five male dancers to leave the show because I enjoy watching all of them dance, but I'm so glad that Mark will be coming back next week. He truly brings something unique to the table, and I can't wait to see how he'll do next week.
Gev Manoukian
Gev has been one of my favorites ever since his first So You Think You Can Dance audition in Salt Lake City when he showed off his breakdancing on ice. It's so amazing how much he has accomplished during this time on the show, and it was so cute how he had such a huge crush on his erstwhile partner Courtney. We'll miss you, Gev!
Who are you sadder to see go?
