Injury Strikes for the Third Week in a Row on 'SYTYCD'

There's something seriously wrong with So You Think You Can Dance this season. Two weeks ago Alex Wong was injured and had to withdraw. Last week the same thing happened to Ashley Galvan. Now SYTYCDism is reporting that, for the third week in a row, one dancer is injured and will not be able to compete in the performance show.

SYTYCDism says Billy Bell injured his knee and will be out tonight. There's no word on what will happen, but the last two weeks painted a pretty clear picture. He won't perform, he'll automatically be in the Bottom 3 and if/when it's revealed the doctors say he can't compete next week, he'll be eliminated tomorrow night.

Not only is this a huge blow to Billy (who also had to withdraw from season 6 due to illness), but it's a blow to quality dancing. At the start of season 7, Alex Wong and Billy Bell were the obvious frontrunners with tons of technical talent.

With the possibility of Billy Bell being out, the season 7 winner of So You Think You Can Dance will have a whole lot of asterisks next to his or her name. I have no idea what's to blame for all of these injuries, but SYTYCD needs to find the problem and fix it for next season, otherwise it's hard to get excited about voting for your favorite dancer if your votes doesn't count at all for three weeks in a row.
