After two weeks of judges' choice, America finally gets to vote for their favorite dancers on So You Think You Can Dance tonight.  While we are all eager to finally have a say in a competition that claims to be about finding America's favorite (not the judges) dancer, head judge Nigel Lythgoe sounds a wee bit trepidatious about sharing the decision with the voting public.

Nigel took to his Twitter this morning to talk about America voting, saying "hopefully it helps us." He also says "weaknesses" were shown this week, which makes me eager to see what untouchable golden dancer goofs tonight. He says the results should be interesting, but I think he really means "terrifying for one of my personal favorites." But don't take my recounting of the Tweet, see if for yourself.

So America, looks like the judges are none too confident in our voting. But at least the feeling is mutual. In their two weeks as the sole deciders of the fate of season 6, the judges showed their favoritism for all things contemporary dance. Now that we have the ability to vote, let's prove Nigel's nerves wrong and vote for whatever dancer and dance moves us... not just the pre-selected favorites or folks the judges have been promoting. Let's bring this back to America, not the judges, Favorite Dancer.
