Smallville's big movie event has been hogging the spotlight since its announcement, and with good reason. The upcoming "Absolute Justice" has been pegged as a legendary affair, from its array of guest stars to the fact that it lasts longer than your usual TV episode.
While the fans are most excited about the premiere of "Absolute Justice," it seems as though the stars of the flick are unable to keep quiet as well. Britt Irvin, who plays JSA member Stargirl on the movie, has unveiled a few spoilers to Fancast.com. She tried her best to keep the info low-key, but since this is Smallville, things just intensify.
"Absolute Justice" spoilers below!
According to Britt Irvin, a tragedy will set the story in motion for Clark (Tom Welling) and the Justice Society of America. She won't exactly reveal who brings forth such a disaster, but at the beginning of the episode there will already be a casualty.
"I can't say too much about this, but there is a death that occurs at the beginning of the episode," Irvin told the publication. "And that brings the Justice Society of America together with Clark and his team."
Irvin pointed out that the team she's referring to is the early stages of the Justice League, which will certainly consist of the Blur and the Green Arrow (Justin Hartley). Others will join in, of course, but we have to await their introductions throughout the season.
More details about "Absolute Justice" have also been confirmed, only to be backed up by the actress. We all know that Oliver won't be in good terms with Hawkman, but apparently they won't be the only ones butting heads.
"Stargirl has a bit of friction with Green Arrow at the beginning, as does Hawkman," Irvin continued.
Conversely, she'll have a so-called "special connection" with Clark. Stargirl will apparently be a fan of the Blur on the film, because he reminds her of his mentor. Could it be that Lois will be having a bit of a competition here? We doubt that, since it's obvious that's not the way Stargirl sees the Blur.
Anyway, before the whole movie event is spoiled for us, let's leave it at that. Again, don't miss "Absolute Justice" as
Smallville airs it on February 5 next year.
