Johnny Venokur is an American actor, writer and comedian. A native of New York, he also works as a producer, and goes by the moniker “Johnny V.” His wit has been labeled as sarcastic and satirical, while his comedy style has also been called notoriously controversial. He has also been described as having an extreme personality, with a special and unique brand of humor. He has said that he's most at home performing on the stage, though he has also appeared in productions such as Law and Order, LAX, and Rescue Me.

Johnny Venokur appears as a member of the cast in the VH1 celebrity reality television series Scott Baio is 45… and Single. He plays the role of titular star Scott Baio's right-hand man, as well as his so-called alter ego. He will join Baio during the trip to talk to all of the actor's ex-lovers, and to discover why he's still single and in a mid-life crisis, despite his relative success. As one of Baio's friends and confidantes on the road, he'll be set to offer his own brand of advice, however odd it may be.
