Scandal knows how to shock us, excite us, get our jaws on the floor -- and most importantly, get us talking about it on social media -- so expect nothing less for the midseason finale.

Here's a little of what you can expect.

Check out this extended scene from Thursday's episode titled "A Door Marked Exit."

Last week ended with Sally calling Cyrus about something she had done, and we got a bigger camera view of what that was -- her husband, face down, bloodied and dead. The clip shows Cyrus going to see Sally after that call. Sally goes on about how the two of them fought (over the scandalous photos of him with Cyrus' husband) and that the devil came and made her do this.

How will Cyrus deal with yet another problem? How is all that blood going to get cleaned up? Will Sally get away with it or will another member of the White House have yet another death on their hands? This might lead to Sally withdrawing from the presidency -- and get out of Fitz's life for good.

Now, check out the blink-or-you'll-miss-it trailer for the finale:

We paused frame by frame so you don't have to. Here's what's revealed:

- Charlie and Quinn carrying out Daniel Douglas after Sally murder's him. It makes sense that Cyrus would call his man Charlie, who then enlists the help of Quinn.

- Huck tells Quinn if it weren't for Olivia, he'd kill her. Does he also know she's helping out Charlie and Cyrus?

- Fitz is standing behind Rowan in a chair. What is he going to do to him now that he knows everything?

- Olivia wants her mother arrested, and tells Fitz: "You get her." Does she mean he gets her mother -- and not her? Does that mean Olivia's mother thought she escaped safely, only to find out her daughter wants her locked up?

What other crazy moments will we expect?

Lastly, congrats to Scandal lead actress Kerry Washington. She was only network actor to be nominated in the drama category (both male and female) for the Screen Actors Guild Awards for her portrayal of Olivia Pope.

Scandal airs at 10pm Thursdays on ABC.
