Christina Applegate was born on November 25, 1971 in Hollywood, California to Robert Applegate, a record producer, and Nancy Priddy, a singer and actress. Applegate dropped out of school at age seventeen to pursue acting. For ten years, she played Kelly Bundy on
Married...with Children and in 1998 she starred in her own sitcom on NBC,
Jesse. In 2002 she appeared alongside Cameron Diaz on the romantic comedy,
The Sweetest Thing. Applegate also starred in
View from the Top with Gwyneth Paltrow and in
Anchorman: The Legend of Rob Burgundy with Will Ferrell. She has appeared on Broadway, and guest starred on two episodes of
Friends, one of which she won an Emmy award for. She also made an appearance on Jessica Simpson's music video for "A Public Affair." In 2007, she was cast for a role on the comedy series

Samantha Who? Sam was recently involved in a terrible accident, leaving her in an eight-day coma. When she wakes up, she can't remember a thing, so she has to start over, battling it out with amnesia. Little by little, she finds out more about herself and it turns out she wasn’t such a pleasant person after all. In fact, she was a self-absorbed, narcissistic, and devoid of any real relationships. Now she struggles between her desire to be good and her former unpleasant ways.
