Now that we're on to the third season of Rock of Love with Bret Michaels, we know there are certain things you can expect from every season. A plethora of questionable plastic surgery, bandannas, unintentionally hilarious characters, over-imbibing, bad blonde dye jobs, and best of all--The Mud Bowl. Ah yes, it is that time again...when women who've never played sports a day in their life suit up for their day in the mud, Bret Michaels style.

For the third (and final?) Mud Bowl, Bret promises the muddiest Mud Bowl of all time. To this end, Bret has acquired the services of some local firemen and firetrucks whose hoses are put on blast to create a wet and wild mud field. For their services, the firemen are allowed to watch the plastic-popping debacle that is Bret Michaels' Mud Bowl. Today's game pits The Sweethearts (Mindy, Taya, Brittanya, Kami, and Beverly) against The Fallen Angels (Farrah, Ashley, Kelsey, Jamie, and Jennifer), which is basically the Pink Bus/blondtourage versus the Blue Bus. As in all previous Mud Bowls, Bret serves as the objective quarterback for both teams.

Getting down to business, this looks like it's going to be the roughest and muddiest Mud Bowl of all time. Bret is instantly impressed by the ferociousness the girls are playing with, noting "They either all really like me, or really hate each other." We think it's not mutually exclusive, but unfortunately for Bret think it may have more to do with the latter. While they have the milder name and personalities, we have a feeling The Sweethearts are really going to shine during this challenge. In comparison to girly-girls like Farrah and Ashley, the Sweethearts have Mindy and Beverly on their team who act like they grew up with brothers and know what a spiral pass is. However, our certainty is shaken when the first possible touchdown pass is dropped by Playmate Taya, who blames her boobs for getting in the way of her catch.

Once she is good and muddy and not worried about her blonde beehive, Ashley goes to town during the Mud Bowl. While she can't catch, she has a distinct strategy for defense--pantsing the other team. It's not the most effective tactic, since let's be honest none of these women are worried about being naked, but the strategy is appreciated by Bret and the watching firemen. Our girl Mindy is killing it for the Sweethearts, she is responsible for both of the teams touchdowns. On the final play, the Sweethearts are up two TD's to the Fallen Angels one -- and it is all up to Mormon girl gone bad Kelsey. Bret spirals her a long pass and Kelsey is charging after the pass like an NFL wide-receiver, she's wide open, in the end zone and drops the pass. The Sweethearts are victorious and The Fallen Angels are defeated! While Bret was appreciative and impressed by Ashley's defense the obvious MVP of the mud bowl is Mindy, who wins an over-night date with Bret.
