With A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, MTV launched the IAmOnMTV.com, essentially a social networking site specifically dedicated to the stars of the show and their fans. Not sure if you just befriended the real Bobby Banhart or just some imposter on MySpace? MTV's site includes the “Verified Personalities” of the show's stars, so you always know you're getting the real deal.
Well now, you can do the same with the Rock of Love 2 girls on VH1's new Rock of Love 2 site FamousVH1Friends.com - with one possibly big caveat.
Much like the Tila site, on the new Rock of Love 2
site, you can show your love by becoming a fan of your favorite girls and check out their blogs and their photos.
Of course, you might want to take those blogs “written by the stars” with a grain of salt. There's a writer's strike going on, but maybe the strike doesn't impact those who pen faux blog posts for the VH1 stars, because both Bret Michaels
have the exact same blog entry.
On each of their blogs, both the Rock of Love 2
star and the lady vying for his heart posted as their own an entry that said, “Happy new year to all of you. I hope you are ready for a AMAZING season. I appreciate all of you tuning in. I cant wait to see it either hahaha. I hope you will all write me and let me know all of your thoughts good and bad. I am very much looking forward to staying in touch with all of you because this is going to be ONE willlddddd ride.”
We'll have to see how long that little mix-up stays live on Bret's and Aubrey's blogs. Or who knows, maybe Aubrey and Bret are a love match and they are so compatible, they just legitimately and spontaneously wrote the exact same thing, down to errors in punctuation and that special drawn-out “willddddd.” Maybe they were meant to be!
