Comedian and writer Thomas Lennon III was born on August 9, 1970. A native of Oak Park, Illinois, Lennon graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School, and then went to New York University to pursue acting. He is best known for his television stints like Viva Variety and The State. He also appeared on The Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Lennon wrote the screenplay for several films such as Night at the Museum, The Pacifier, and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Lieutenant Jim Dangle is played by Thomas Lennon on the Comedy Central series Reno 911! Jim is known for wearing his trademark hot pants while on duty.
