Pussycat Dolls Present: Jamie Benjamin Busy Working on Her Debut Album
Following her elimination from Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, Jamie Benjamin told BuddyTV about her future plans, including working on her debut album and posting videos of her progress on the web.  Staying true to her word, Benjamin worked hard over the next few months, and is now sharing the fruits of her labor with the rest of the world.

Early last month, Jamie Benjamin launched her very own MySpace music page.  On it, four original tracks are currently featured: “Lifetime,” “Fame,” “Lovin' Me” and “Lovin' Me (Hell's Kitchen Remix).”  Each song is available for listening and for purchase.  Additionally, videos showing Benjamin recording at Sony Studios have also been posted.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

According to the site, Benjamin is also planning on a Canadian and Northeastern American tour, though no specific dates have been announced.  At present, she is signed to A-List Entertainment Management and Vocal Chills Management, while her debut album is set to be released under Interscope Records.

Benjamin began singing at the tender age of four.  She also received training in ballet and jazz dance, and later performed for the Pennsylvania Ballet Company.  Her ballet background led her to study hip-hop, and when cast in such productions as Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and A Midsummer Night's Dream, she realized her true passion is performing.  After taking voice lessons, she went to New York City to pursue a singing career.

Prior to joining Pussycat Dolls Present, Benjamin was experiencing little success in the music industry.  Only after appearing on the series did she gain national exposure and build a fan base, which continues to grow.

Benjamin was the second girl eliminated from Pussycat Dolls Present.  Her lack of confidence was what brought on her early exit from the show.  Despite not winning the competition, she said in her post-elimination interview with BuddyTV that the series helped her to believe in herself more.  Now, she is no longer afraid to sing in public, and even performed live in New York City recently.
