Carmit Bachar, one of the original vocalists of Pussycat Dolls along with Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton, has recently departed from the burlesque ensemble that catapulted her to stardom.  Now, the 33-year-old singer will produce and star in a touring revue.

The former Pussycat will spearhead The Zodiac Show, a one-hour live concert-style theatrical event driven by music, celebrity, and multifaceted new talent.  Bachar will host a private entertainment industry showing on September 9 at 10:30pm at the legendary Avalon Theater in Hollywood.  She also hopes to take the show to Las Vegas.

“I truly miss the girls but this has been a vision of mine for the last seven years and now it's finally going to the big screen.  It's the next evolution of music and performance.  I hope the Pussycat Dolls have a reunion one day and I'd totally perform with them again,” Bachar said.

Bachar describes her new project as “a rock 'n' roll version of Cirque Du Soleil, which is a musically driven theatre show with specialty acts comprised of incredible talent."  In line with this, she has teamed up with longtime pal and Zodiac co-founder, Lee Cherry to form the production company, Freedom Party Entertainment, which produces The Zodiac Show.  The project has been running since 2002 within an elite circle and is now entering main stream.

Bachar joined the Pussycat Dolls in 1995.  She was a member of the Pussycat Dolls burlesque show longer than any other performer.  Most of the current members, including lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, were cast by founder Robin Antin, producer and host of reality series such as Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll and Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious.  She has also appeared in several films, including 13 Going on 30, Along Came Polly, and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle featuring the Pussycat Dolls.
