The fake psychic detective agency is opening once again. USA has made it official that it's long-running series Psych will return for a special two-hour Christ-themed TV movie coming in December 2017.

The film will reunite the entire main cast, with James Roday and Dule Hill as BFFs Shawn and Gus, plus Corbin Bernsen as Shawn's dad and Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson and Kirsten Nelson. Additional cast and potential returning faces will be announced later (fingers crossed for McNab and Woody).

The holiday-themed TV movie will involve one of the group being targeted by a mystery assailant, and the faux psychic shenanigans ensue.

Psych ended in 2014 after a successful run of eight seasons and more than 120 episodes. It's the latest series to get rebooted in some form, which is appropriate since Psych actually staged a mini Twin Peaks reunion with an episode that served as an homage to that classic series, which now has a reboot.

Who else do you want to see return for the Psych TV movie? Cary Elwes as master thief (and Shawn's ultimate man-crush) Pierre Despereaux? Maybe Tony Shalhoub making an appearance as another USA detective, Monk, seeing as how the series finale of Psych hinted that Shawn was now working alongside him in San Francisco?

Psych: The Movie will film this summer and air on USA in December.
