With the future of Project Runway
uncertain, Heidi Klum
has been looking for new ways to pass the time. NBC Universal and The Weinstein Company are currently locked in a heated legal battle for control of the fashion design reality show. The Weinstein Company wants to move it to Lifetime, having cut a deal with them for $150 million, while NBC Universal is trying to keep it right where it belongs – on Bravo. In the meantime, Bravo has ordered a new show to replace it, The Fashion Show
, where viewers will be able to choose the winner. Back to Heidi Klum, though. Fans who have been missing the German supermodel on their television sets need to look no further than the latest Guitar Hero II commercial.
Dressed in nothing but her bar, underwear, and an open white button down men’s shirt, Heidi rocks out on her Guitar Hero guitar to “Old Time Rock N’ Roll” by Bob Seger. The commercial is a play on Tom Cruise’s famous scene from the 1983 movie Risky Business. Heidi spoke in a recent interview about commercial director Brett Ratner’s vision, saying, "He really wanted to have it exactly like Tom Cruise did this. ... It was harder than I thought it was gonna be." Another version of the commercial is also currently airing with athletes Kobe Bryant, Michael Phelps, Tony Hawk, and Alex Rodriguez.
Klum is also currently appearing in her second print ad for the Got Milk? campaign. Dressed in a purple gown, the model is perched on a high wooden chair with her tall glass of milk placed on the floor by her feet. "Model Mom. From the runway to my driveway, there's one look that's always in style. Studies suggest the nutrients in 3 glasses of lowfat or fat free milk a day can help you maintain a healthy weight," the ad reads. "And the protein helps build muscle for a lean body. Which makes it a perfect fit for you and your family."
