Project Runway All-Stars kicks off January 5. Here, we refresh our memories about the designers who've set their sights on another shot at fashion glory.
He's the comeback kid! Getting eliminated twice is definitely no laughing matter for a Project Runway designer. Yet Anthony Williams
always kept a laugh-out-loud comment handy. Self-taught, Anthony takes inspiration from women in
their Sunday Best and creates attention-grabbing dresses. His uplifting personality and comeback tale helped to propel his career forward after his first run on Project Runway.Basic Stats
Project Runway History
Anthony Williams has a history unlike any of his fellow Project Runway: All-Star
competitors. He won
a challenge in Week 5, was eliminated in Week 10, came back the following week and won another
challenge, and was eliminated for a second time in Week 12. Talk about a rollercoaster ride! Regardless,
his stint on the show proved to be worth it. Heidi Klum graced the cover of Marie Claire
wearing his first challenge winning design.

After being tossed out and then thrown back into the game, many designers might accuse the judges of playing with their emotions, yet Anthony always stayed positive, and described his Project Runway
experience as something that "happened for a reason."
Well, he was right. We definitely had not seen the last of Anthony Williams. His dresses continue to be
flashy and show stopping whether on the runway or on television. That's right! Anthony worked as a
style consultant on VH1's Single Ladies
"Television introduced me to the world as a funny, southern, gay, black man that is sassy and full of
entertaining one-liners," Anthony says. "I am more than the image and personality that was projected through that
reality show. I am a creative individual who celebrates every opportunity to have a human experience."
The comeback kid has definitely made a name for himself in the fashion industry. Now can Anthony Williams return to the runway and take home a win? Project Runway: All-Stars
