The winter premiere of ABC Family's smash hit
Pretty Little Liars is right around the corner. In Rosewood, when something is right around the corner it's probably because you're being stalked. But in this case, having our favorite liars back is cause for celebration!
When last we saw our favorite liars, they were
boarding the Halloween train. Next stop: murder town! Ex-police officer and NAT member Garrett was killed and Aria nearly ended up thrown off the train with him. She only saved herself thanks to a rusty screwdriver she used to stab her mysterious assailants.
So what can we look forward too now that the Halloween dust has settled and the girls are back? Here are five things to keep your eyes peeled for in the winter premiere:
1. Mona's back, but is she better? The episodes begins with Mona's release from Radley, the worst sanitarium of all time. I guess they figured since she was coming and going at her leisure they might as well just let her leave. Mona wants to prove to the girls that she's "better now" but we all know when it comes to Mona there's always more than meets the eye.
2. Mona's tweeting her secretsAs part of
Pretty Little Liars' seasson 3 winter premiere event, Mona herself will be hopping onto social media and giving out some juicy clues. Mona will be tweeting
@MonaVanderwaal throughout the winter premieres of
Pretty Little Liars and
The Lying Game.
Industrious fans of lying will be able to decode Mona's tweets to unlock a secret video of additional footage not seen in the
Pretty Little Liars premiere episode. And you never know, there might be another clue in the video about the identities of those on the 'A' Team!
3. Betty Buckley sings!Pretty Little Liars scored a real casting coup when it snagged Broadway superstar Betty Buckley as Hanna's tough-talking Grandma. In the winter premiere, look out for more down-home wisdom from Grandma Marin...and even a little singing! Eat your heart out
Smash.
4. A member of the 'A' Team might be revealed!Remember that rusty screwdriver? We find out someone has a puncture hole to match.
5. Alison's diary is discoveredAs you'd expected from Alison, it contains some juicy secrets and might even give someone we know a motive for murdering her. (Although, let's be real, who doesn't have a motive for murdering Alison at this point? Anyone? Bueller?)
What are you looking forward to most when
Pretty Little Liars returns? What do you think is in Alison's diary? Share your theories in the comments!
