Heidi Mueller, cast member on Passions, has some revelations that will hopefully entice the viewers to remain loyal supporters as the long-running soap moves to Direct TV on Wednesday, September 17.  In her live blog session on the NBC website, she talks about her character and what's in store in the upcoming episodes.

Created by James E. Reilly, Passions is a soap opera that centers on the various romantic and supernatural adventures of the residents of the fictional coastal town of Harmony in New England.  It stars Eric Martsolf (Ethan), Ben Masters (Julian), Kim Johnston Ulrich (Ivy), Dylan Fergus (Noah), Galen Gering (Luis), and more.

On the show, Mueller plays Kay, the middle Bennet child.  Though her character is purely fictional and has magic abilities, she says that she has a lot of similarities with her character on Passions.

“We share a lot in common,” the 25-year-old actress said.  “We're both a little clumsy, and sometimes I swear I feel like the camera is just watching me in real life.  She's bubbly, goofy and sarcastic… she says things just like I would say.  She's also selfish, and I'm very selfish.  When she wants something, she gets it.  When I want something, I'll do anything to get it.”

“I like playing the bad Kay! I like the good Kay too but playing the bad Kay is always a little more fun,” she added.

With the news of Passions heading to Direct TV, many fans have had mixed reactions since enjoying their favorite soap will soon have a price tag attached to it.  Meanwhile, Mueller dishes out some information that will hopefully convince its viewers to stick around.

“There are a lot of twists,” she said.  “I develop new friends and there's just a lot going on around her, her world is getting turned upside down!  Something huge is about to happen, I can't say a lot more about it, but just watch!  And of course, she's still working on casting spells!”

“We can't talk dirtier…But the storylines have been a lot of fun, I've been thrown a lot of good stuff, the most fun I've had in a long time,” she added.  “And it can only get better with more freedom on Direct TV.  There's a lot of fun twists coming up, so stay tuned!”
