In the upcoming season 2 of Orphan Black, a new clone is discovered who will shed some light on the mysterious illness afflicting the clones, and possible future for the rest of the clones.

In the video from EW, we learn that the new clone is a 28-year-old teacher and swim coach named Jennifer Fizsimmons. We will get to know her through a series of video diary entries, most of which will air during season 2, but some are exclusive to the video. The video diaries begin with Jennifer's diagnosis of this respiratory illness, which is presumably similar to Katja and now Cosima. Cosima finds these video diaries when researching her own respiratory illness.

Through her diaries, Jennifer mentions getting treatment from the Dyad and Dr. Leekie. This must mean she is working with the Neolutionists, but the bad news is that they have not found anything to help her. It is distressing to see the toll the illness takes on her, where she is clearly in pain and struggling to even speak. It is especially concerning considering this could mean the same fate for Cosima and eventually, the rest of the clones.

This video brings up more questions than answers. Does Jennifer survive? Will Cosmia meet the same fate or use her brilliance to discover something new to save herself and the other clones from this illness?

Start hypothesizing because we will have to wait to find out for sure until April 19 with the premiere of season 2 of Orphan Black on BBC America.
