It's almost Halloween and Once Upon a Time is going creepy for the occasion. Dr. Whale's Fairy Tale Land identity will also finally be revealed when he decides to bring Regina's true love, Daniel back to life on "The Doctor."

Dr. Whale's true identity has remained a mystery in Storybrooke, but that secret  finally will be broken tonight in an unexpected way. I never expected Dr. Whale to have a perverse background, since he seemed like a decent guy in Storybrooke.

For reasons that we will have to wait to find out, Dr. Whale takes Daniel's body and steals one of Regina's hearts to bring Daniel back to life. Only it doesn't work out very well. Daniel doesn't return as the sweet, loving man that he was in Fairy Tale Land. Instead, he is "a monster" as Dr. Whale refers to him.

Here's a clip of Dr. Whale and Regina discussing Daniel's resurrection:

While chaos is happening in Storybrooke, in current day Fairy Tale Land, Emma, Snow, Mulan, and Aurora return to the village to find it rampaged with only one survivor, Killian Jones.

What will they do with him now that they've found him? Was it a ploy to get closer to them and get back to Storybrooke? Or, was he really a victim? And, where is Cora? So many questions, I guess we'll have to watch to find out the answers.

In Fairly Tale Land that was, Regina tries to learn magic from Rumple, but has some difficulty.

"The Doctor" looks like it will be an adventurous ride through the three lands.

Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
