Tonight marks this current season's conclusion on October Road, via a special two-hour finale featuring two, back-to-back episodes.  Commencing an hour ahead of its usual Monday night time slot, October Road's season-ending double bill kicks off with “The Fine Art of Surfacing” at 9pm, followed immediately by “As Soon as You Are Able” at 10pm.

Last week's installment dubbed “Stand Alone By Me” saw the boys of Knights Ridge, Massachusetts sent into a tailspin by the untimely demise of their mutual childhood crush.  This week, another blast from one of the guys' past threatens his present relationship, while future prospects pose challenging choices for another.  Read on for a hint at what's in store in tonight's two-episode season finale on October Road.

Tonight, a beautiful blond from Eddie's (Geoff Stults) past returns to town unannounced and looking to touch base with him.  This unexpected visit from Eddie's former flame Rory (played by guest-star Stacy Keibler from Dancing with the Stars), who broke his heart some time ago, sends Janet the Planet (Rebecca Field) into a panic in “The Fine Art of Surfacing.”

In other developments, while Hannah (Laura Prepon) doesn't really place too high a premium on all the hoopla normally associated with a wedding, Pizza Girl (Lindy Booth) makes herself useful by assisting with preparations for the engagement party.  Out of nowhere, two officers swing by Hannah's house and take her into custody for the assault on Ray's (Warren Christie) ex-wife, Christine.

Meanwhile, Nick (Bryan Greenberg) gets a wonderful career opportunity but it comes at a price – taking him away from Knights Ridge and his ailing dad.  Finally, the past comes to haunt one of the gang, when a previous deed incites a violent face-off.

Guest stars in “The Fine Art of Surfacing” are Jonathan Murphy as Ronnie, 24's Penny Johnson Jerald as Dean Etwood, Sean Gunn as Rooster, James Keane as Sully, Julie Ann Emery as Christine Cataldo, Bill Bellamy as Stratton Lorb, Oz Perkins as Dr. Stone, Christopher Eric Tschupp as Matthew Lauche, Andrea Luna Grano as Office Grasso, Anthony Russell as Frankly-T and Dancing with the Stars' Stacy Keibler as Rory Dunlop.

In “As Soon as You Are Able,” guests include Julie Ann Emery as Christine Cataldo, Sean Gunn as Rooster, Jonathan Murphy as Ronnie, Bill Bellamy as Stratton Lorb, Christopher Eric Tschupp as Matthew Lauche, Penny Johnson Jerald as Dean Etwood, Brandon Killham as Jasper and Tanner Blaze as Casper.
