On tonight's finale of Numb3rs - "Angels and Devils" - Amita (Navi Rawat) is abducted by the leader of a cult called guru whose favors female followers, and it'll take Don (Rob Morrow), Charlie (David Krumholtz), the whole team, and even some outside help, maybe Ian Edgerton (Lou Diamond Philips) to her home safely. Understandably, the whole team is on high alert, and while Charlie grapples with terror and rage, his fury gives way to admiration when he finds out that Amita has found a way of communicating with him even if she's being held hostage.
On this fifth season finale of the CBS series, James Callis of Battlestar Galactica guest stars as cult leader Mason Duryea, the prime suspect in Amita's disappearance. Sarah Drew of Everwood also appears as one of his followers Piper.
Numb3rs also stars Judd Hirsch as Alan Eppes, Alimi Ballard as David Sinclair, Dylan Bruno as Colby Granger, Sophina Brown as Nikki Betancourt, Aya Sumika as Liz Warner, and Peter MacNicol as Larry Fleinhart.
On the last episode, the team investigated a string of bank robberies. Their probe led to the conclusion that ex-FBI Agent Roger Bloom (played by Henry Winkler) was responsible for them. Amita was abducted at gunpoint in front of Charlie in the last scene.
