'Newport Harbor: Home for the Holidays' Recap of "It's O-V-E But Not R"

chrissyPreviously on Newport Harbor: Home for the Holidays, Chrissy Schwartz and Clay Adler had the big discussion in the episode “Caught in the Act” and subsequently agreed to go separate ways.  But will it last? The drama continues to unfold on the next episode of the series where Chrissy makes up her mind on who she really wants to be with.

But before going to the fourth episode of Newport Harbor: Home for the Holidays, here's a quick recap on what transpired in the most recent episode called “It's O-V-E But Not R,” which aired on December 26.

“It's O-V-E But Not R” opens with Chrissy hanging out with her sorority sisters.  While some of them intends to stay in Santa Barbara, others plan to go home for Thanksgiving. Chrissy hopes that other girls could come along with her as she fears she might run into Clay at home.

Meanwhile, Clay is still hung up about the entire series of events back in Santa Barbara.  In an effort for Clay to get over Chrissy, Grant Newman suggests a BBQ and Jacuzzi party in order to find a girl for Clay.

In Santa Barbara, Chrissy, Billy, Kylie and Chase Cornwell are out on some kind of double date to have dinner.  Chrissy tells Chase what drama he missed last weekend and reports that she broke up with Clay.

The BBQ party kicks off at Clay's place where Taylor Geiney and Alex are the first girls to show up. Shortly, the party moves onto the Jacuzzi where Clay enjoys the attention he is getting.

Billy invites Chrissy, who plans to go home for Thanksgiving, to spend some time with him after the holidays in San Jose.  She seems to seems to be uncertain of the status of her relationship with Billy and tells him that she'll let him know when she can make it.

Chrissy and Allie Stockton arrive in Newport Beach just in time for Thanksgiving.  More friends and families arrive too and everyone says what they are most thankful for before they feast on dinner.

Chrissy announces that she will not go to the party the next day because Clay will be there.  When her father asks if they broke up, she explains that they are “o-v-e, but not r” yet.  Her parents tell her to go.  When her dad asks her if she still has feelings for Clay, she doesn't hesitate and says yes. Elsewhere, Andrew tells Clay he invited Chrissy for a possible “reunion”, but Clay turns down that idea and is excited to hear that Andrew invited many girls, even some from out of town.

At the party, Clay appears to be in a good mood and explains that he'll never talk to Chrissy again now that he's all single.  As Chrissy arrives, Clay tries to avoid her and tries to make her jealous by grabbing another girl.

Chrissy leaves with Sasha after Clay's flirting spree.  She goes home and her father asks her how the party was.  She explains that she left early and admits that she was jealous and still misses Clay.  The episode ends as Chrissy walks inside and looks at a picture of her and Clay from prom.
