Eonline.com reports that Broadway star Josh Grad will appear in the season 2 premiere as a character named Bearclaw, a beer delivery guy at Nick's bar who tries to get Jess' attention.
Additionally, Nelson Franklin, who appeared on
Traffic Light and
The Office, will serve as the boyfriend of Hannah Simone's Cece. According to
TV Guide, Franklin's character, Robby, is "a genuinely nice guy who is an embarrassingly bad dancer and deaf in one ear."
Meanwhile, New Girl has also tapped on Anna Maria Horsford to play Winston's (Lamorne Morris) mother, Charmaine Bishop. The actress, who has appeared on Grey's Anatomy, The Shield and Everybody Hates Chris, is described as a tough-talking Chicagoan who brought up her children to become professional basketball players. Apparently, she also hates Schmidt.
