NCIS season 10 continues on Tuesday, May 7 with an episode called "Double Blind." Check out the synopsis and sneak peek clips below and see what happens when the team is investigated by the Department of Defense.

First up, let's take a look at the official synopsis of the episode from CBS:

"Double Blind" - A Department of Defense investigator scrutinizes the NCIS team's response to the Bodnar case involving the murder of Ziva's father and Vance's wife.  Meanwhile, the team examines whether a Petty Officer is suffering from paranoia or if his claims of being followed are tied to a matter of national security, on NCIS, Tuesday, May 7 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  Colin Hanks ("Dexter") guest stars as Department of Defense IG Investigator Richard Parsons.

In the preview video, we see how the investigation is going to go down and it looks like everyone is going to stand behind Ziva after what she did in the last episode.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:

  • Ziva is going to claim she has nothing to hide, but it seems to me like she probably does.
  • Ducky has decided that the investigation is a witch hunt.
  • Investigator Parsons is going to use Abby's words against her.
  • Parsons is going to ask Ziva a very delicate question. One that Tony doesn't seem to like at all for some reason.
  • Tony confronting Parsons in the elevator looks like it could end up being one of best the episode.

In the sneak peek clip from the episode, we see that, despite how serious everything looked in the preview, things do get light in the episode at one point when Parsons tags along with Tony and McGee on a stakeout.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:

  • Parsons finds stakeouts fun. Then again, they don't let him out of the office much either.
  • The guys didn't let Parsons tag along, it was Vance's decision.
  • The guys are there tracking a stolen cell phone, presumably from their latest case. Parsons thinks having "007" as the code to his briefcase is cool. Tony is less than impressed. They will spot someone coming out of the building, but according to McGee she's the wrong sex and according to Tony, she's the right sex but the wrong time.

What do you think now that you've seen clips from this episode of NCIS? How do you think the investigation into the team will go down? Will Parsons get evidence that somebody did something wrong?

NCIS airs on Tuesday nights at 8pm on CBS.
