Yes, we know
Nashville is canceled. But, at the end of September, BuddyTV had the distinct honor of attending the FOX Fall TV press junket. There were a plethora of interviews scheduled for everyone, and the show with the biggest interviewee turn out was
Nashville. Remember
Nashville, everyone? It was the reality show on FOX from the creators of
Laguna Beach and
The Hills. It's not really a reality show, but it does feature people living their lives as themselves, but the producers set up situations and conversations, and the cast members actually do different takes of their conversations. Anyway,
Nashville only lasted two episodes before tasting the cruel steel of the FOX guillotine, but that does not erase the fact that we at BuddyTV interviewed six different
Nashville cast members.
When we talked to the young
Nashville up-and-comers, both episode of
Nashville had hit the airwaves, and they were a bust. There was still optimism, you could tell, but it was cautious, though I'm not sure any of the subjects had fully embraced the writing on the wall. The interviews took place on a Sunday and Monday, and by the time our plane landed us back in Seattle on Wednesday, FOX had already shelved the series. Regardless, I got the chance to interview six different cast members in four separate interviews.
Nashville's premise, which was simple and had potential, involved young singers and musicians striving for fame and glory in the musical breeding ground of Nashville, Tennessee. I was mostly excited that one of the lady singers was Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw's daughter.

What we're going to do is present to you the four separate interviews on four separate pages. If they were all on the same page, they might all play at the same time, and that wouldn't be any fun at all. We here at BuddyTV discourage excess use of the pause button.
Interview #1 here is with Chuck Wicks, who appeared to have perhaps the most star potential of any of the
Nashville cast members.
Interview #3 – Clint Mosely
Interview #4 – Erica Hoyt and Mika Combs
