Immediately on the heels of
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 for the PS2 is the version for the new platform PS3. Namco Bandai has announced that
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 for PlayStation 3 is due for release this fall.
With all the advancements and innovations in PS3 technology,
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 promises enhanced cinema-quality high definition animation, fuller-bodied battle locations, greater flexibility with fighting techniques and options, and an exponentially greater array of adventures and missions.
Because of the improvements on PS3 from its immediate predecessor,
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 for the latest PlayStation platform will allow gamers to enjoy a richer, more sophisticated and diverse experience. Namco Bandai boasts that its graphics, including an advanced facial expression system, rivals even traditional hand-drawn animation for
Naruto on television.
Another innovation from PS2 to PS3 are the new kick-ass three-dimensional battlegrounds. No longer are players limited to flat surfaces to take on missions and fight opponents head-on. Speaking of opponents, another new feature gives gamers the freedom to do battle with a host of entities using “bigger, meaner, stronger and more cinematic secret techniques than ever before,” according to Namco Bandai's official Ultimate Ninja site.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 for PlayStation 3 also offers increased versatility with 25 fully transformable warriors that can morph into superior fighters endowed with amazing powers. With its Ultimate Mission Mode, gamers can also launch into 100 different missions culled from the original animated TV series right up to the Sasuke Retrieval Arc.
With its impending release on PS2,
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 stands to blur the line separating gaming from the series animation.
“
Naruto's PlayStation 3 system debut truly blurs the line between gaming and animation to deliver the most immersive and authentic interactive experience the franchise has ever seen,” Todd Thorson, Namco Bandai Games America, Inc.'s director of Marketing and Public Relations, remarked. “Players will marvel at the game's jaw-dropping graphics, fast-paced 3D fighting and new open-world exploration as they experience a classic
Naruto storyline with all of their favorite characters and environments.”
