Moonlight event! The Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles, a cultural institution dedicated to the discussion of the creative and social significance of television, radio and media-interested public, is planning a special affair dedicated to the paranormal romance series on Tuesday, April 22.
So far, not much has been disclosed about this much-awaited event, though the Paley Center has already confirmed that there will be “an evening with cast and creative team of
Moonlight.” Supporters of the series can also look forward to panel discussions, a Q&A portion, and autograph sessions, just to name a few.

For those who are not familiar,
Moonlight follows a private investigator named Mick St. John (
Alex O'Loughlin), a vampire who struggles with his undead nature and his love for the mortal internet reporter, Beth Turner (
Sophia Myles). Also featured are Mick's centuries-old buddy vampire Josef Kostan (
Jason Dohring), and Mick's wife and sire Coraline (
Shannyn Sossaman).
Produced by Warner Bros. Television and Silver Pictures, the series premiered on September 28, 2007, airing on Friday nights at 9/8c on CBS, following
Ghost Whisperer. The show quickly increased its fan base over the course of the pilot season and even won the People's Choice Award for “Favorite New TV Drama.” It also ranked number one in it its key demographic target on several occasions.
Meanwhile, there is no word yet when CBS will be airing new episodes of
Moonlight. According to
TV Guide, before the writers' strike, CBS informed producers that they had every intention of picking up the show's "back nine.” But since the strike started, they haven't heard a peep about whether they'll be going back into production.
Fans can catch reruns of
Moonlight airing every Friday at 9pm on CBS.
What are you looking forward to in the Moonlight event?
