There were definitely a lot of sentiments expressed regarding the recent reality TV tragedy, but we haven't really heard from Megan Hauserman herself. Now that her show has been canceled and her dreams of snagging a millionaire have been obstructed, what is she to do? Sure, there's mourning to be done and tears to be shed, but life is still rolling through and we can't do anything about it.
What's going to happen to Megan Hauserman now? As of the moment, a friend of hers told People magazine about how she feels regarding the Ryan Jenkins incident. The 32-year-old who was wanted by authorities and found dead in his hotel room spent quite a lot of time with Megan on Megan Wants a Millionaire, and he surely meant something to her.
"Megan is devastated," the insider told the publication. "She got to know Ryan through her show, and she is shocked and saddened by the week's events."
On an interview posted on her official website
, Megan Hauserman expressed how terrible everything is for her and for the victims. "I feel really sorry for the girl and her family," the Megan Wants a Millionaire
She wasn't exactly supposed to talk about Ryan Jenkins, but was pushed to discuss more about the contestant. "He was always very nice, kind to me. Great, educated," she said. Megan also noted how she'd never expect Ryan Jenkins to do something as brutal as murder.
If you can bear waiting for her slow responses to every question, listen in as Megan comments on Ryan Jenkins and the hugely publicized incident. Here's the interview with Megan Hauserman as posted on her site.
With Megan Wants a Millionaire
canceled, there's still a number of projects this girl can do. She's been racing through VH1 reality shows in the past and there's the modeling to get through, so she'll still have her fill of attention. That is, if the public wants her to, and we doubt that.
According to the interview, they've already finished filming the show anyway. We can assume Megan Hauserman got her millions and her millionaire already, but we won't really find out who won, will we? Still, it's probably a good sign for Megan to throw in the TV towel.
