It was a bitter sweet ending on last week's
Mad Men, where Sally finally mended her relationship with Grandpa Gene only to discover later that he's passed away. And suddenly, all of Don and Betty's issues with Gene were gone as well. While Gene's death was excruciating enough for Sally, it didn't help that she overheard Betty, Don, William and his wife Judy briefly laughing about William's jokes about Gene not having to worry about seeing his last companion, Gloria, in heaven. "Nobody cares that he's really, really, really gone," Sally cried, not understanding that her parents were reminiscing the fond memories adults seek after a loss.
Gene may be gone but we'll still feel the aftermath of his death on tonight's episode of
Mad Men entitled "The Fog." Putting the spotlight on Sally, we get the idea of how a little girl deals with grief as she exhibits some new bad behavior.
Hair pulling! Scratching! No, this isn't one of those episodes of
The Real Housewives of Atlanta. But that's the kind of bad behavior Sally's been showing in school. I'm not sure if we'll actually get to see this happen but it's a pretty big deal for Sally since Sally's teacher has now called the attention of Betty and Don, who comes to school somewhat surprised.
Now Sally isn't all bad. She's not even one of those girls who pokes pencils at the heavy kid, according to Sally's teacher. Maybe it's just her way of dealing with her grandfather's death.
Meanwhile, Sally isn't the only character with an interesting plot on tonight's
Mad Men. We also see Pete as he pursues a new angle in business while Betty has a strange dream.
