We’re less than one month away from the premiere of
Lost season 5, and BuddyTV is asking fans to help us put together our countdown for the best episodes of
Lost. Thus far we’ve held showdowns to determine the best episodes from seasons 1 and 2, and now we look at season 3.
Season 3 started off with a six-episode mini-season in the fall before returning with an impressive second part that saw some classic episodes like the time-bending “Flashes Before Your Eyes” and the finale “Through the Looking Glass,” which had the astonishing flash forward.
Vote for the Best Episode of Lost Season 3!
I’m pretty sure there’s absolutely no chance you fans will agree with me, but I’d love for you to vote up “Expose,” the Nikki-Paulo episode that was a hilarious stand-alone meta episode that was quite possibly one of the most clever things
Lost has ever done. If not, I trust you’ll at least vote for “Flashes Before Your Eyes,” which in many ways was the precursor to “The Constant” and helped establish the concept of time travel as a very real possibility on
Lost.
Other memorable events from this season include the deaths of Locke’s father by Sawyer in “The Brig” and Charlie’s sacrificial death at the end of the season. Vote now to help us determine the show’s best episodes of all-time.
As a reminder, here are the top five from the first two showdowns:
Top 5 Lost Episodes from Season 1
1 “Pilot”
2 “Confidence Man”
3 “Exodus”
4 “Walkabout”
5 “Outlaws”
Top 5 Lost Episodes from Season 2
1 “Man of Science, Man of Faith”
2 “Live Together, Die Alone”
3 “One of Them”
4 “The Other 48 Days”
5 “The Long Con”
Once again, the season premiere and finale make the list, as does a Sawyer-centric episode. I’m glad to see the introduction of the Tailies’ backstory on this list, and
Lost fans are certainly huge Ben fans, as his introduction as Henry Gale in “One of Them” also made the list.
