ABC has generously screened the first two hours of
Lost season 5 for critics, and while we won't be giving away all the major details, BuddyTV will give a little tidbit about what you can see in these two hours every weekday leading up to the premiere on January 21 at 9pm on ABC.
The song choices for
Lost are always great. It’s impossible to hear “Make Your Own Kind of Music: without thinking about Desmond in the Hatch, and I can’t hear “Downtown” without flashing on Juliet baking. The season 5 premiere adds yet another brilliant song to that lineup: Willie Nelson’s “Shotgun Willie.”
I won’t reveal when it’s played or who listens to it, but the song manages to find just the right note and fits perfectly in the moment. There also a very clever moment in the song that first-time viewers won’t appreciate until much later, and afterwards the significance of the song will become quite clear.
