With Lost finally returning to ABC in just over a month, the network is unleashing a slew of new content to get fans excited for season 5.  We've already seen a couple of tantalizing commercials featuring clips from upcoming episodes, and now the network has unveiled a new cast photo and two minutes from the premiere.  The picture is filled with the kind of interesting Easter Eggs Lost fans live for, while the episode clip gives us a hint about what's coming up for Kate.  If you're not shivering with anticipation for season 5 already, you will be after taking a look at these.

As you'd expect from a new Lost photo, it's easy to read a lot into the heavily Photoshopped image below.  Why is the cast hanging out in what appears to be a New York apartment?  Where's Jin?  Why are Dharma products and an old computer monitor littered on the floor?  Does it mean anything that Juliet and Sawyer are Photoshopped so close to one another?  Click on the thumbnail below to view a bigger version of the picture, then decide for yourself what it all means.



The clip from the season 5 premiere proves that Kate's story about being Aaron's mother hasn't gone unquestioned.  A lawyer named Dan Norton (played by Tom Irwin of My So-Called Life fame) arrives at her door to demand blood samples from her and Aaron.  He's not able to reveal who he's working for, but it's obvious someone is on to Kate.  After getting rid of him, she packs a bag, grabs money and a gun, and takes off with Aaron.  Where's Jack during all of this?  His picture is on the desk, but he's nowhere to be found.



We still have to wait a while before Lost returns on Wednesday, January 21 at 9pm.  ABC should be releasing even more exciting content as we move closer to season 5, so keep checking BuddyTV for all the updates.
