Lost star, Evangeline Lily, is fascinated with men who are in touch with their feminine side. In fact, she admits to liking “metrosexual" men.
She explained, "I tend to like metrosexual men. I like men who have a little woman and a little man in there. I don't know if that's just because I'm a little man and a little woman. I don't mind getting my hands greasy fixing a car or tearing down a wall. So if he's willing to go shop for me and buy me new clothes...I don't mind a man in high heels.”
Lily, a 27-year old Canadian actress is popularly known for her portrayal of Katherine “Kate” Austen on the television drama
Lost. Her acting credits included
Freddy vs. Jason, Kingdom Hospital,
Smallville, and
The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Previously, she studied international relations at the University of British Columbia while developing a human rights committee. Prior to her exposure on television shows, she worked with Ford Models.
Lily’s character’s preference on
Lost is quite far from her actual preference in real life. Her character, Kate, is torn between two men, which can be simply described as “the good and the bad.” Dr. Jack Shephard, played by Matthew Fox, as the good guy and James “Sawyer” Ford, played by Josh Holloway, as the bad guy.
Fortunately, Lily has found her match in the form of Dominic Monaghan, co-star on the popular series
Lost. He says, "I wear make-up and I paint my nails. I wear high heels. This is all true. I like wearing skirts. I should probably be gay but I like women too much. I am kind of metrosexual in the sense that, if I do get lost, I do ask for directions. I pull over to gas stations and ask. So I don't know. I guess guys have a lot of pride." The couple has been going out for two years now.
