Lipstick Jungle: 'Let It Be' Preview

Lipstick JungleThe ladies of Lipstick Jungle are in for another run of controversy and drama tonight, with the episode “Chapter Ten: Let It Be.”  Things are getting difficult when people attempt to balance things out, or act the way they shouldn't.   There are also new steps to take, as the characters become involved with the latest dilemmas surrounding them.

On “Let It Be” tonight, a struggle occurs between Nico (Kim Raver) and the new chief executive officer, Griffin Bell (James Lesure).  They eventually butt heads as Nico tries to juggle that with issues between her and Kirby Atwood (Robert Buckley).  Kirby wants to take their relationship to the public eye, but Nico isn't sure if she's ready yet.

Another Lipstick Jungle romance, on the other hand, is going rather well.  Victory (Lindsay Price) and Rodrigo (Carlos Ponce) are having a grand time together.  However, there's a growing problem coming between them.  Joe (Andrew McCarthy) keeps interfering and won't leave them alone.

Wendy (Brooke Shields), meanwhile, is busy with other things.  Consumed with a new project, there's barely anything else on her mind.  Being so focused on that causes her personal and private lives to suffer, and she has to realize that before things turn for the worse.

“Let It Be” follows the episode “Help,” where Nico's adjustment to being a widow was tested when her husband's secret lover reappeared.  Victory's construction of her store enabled her to meet the contractor, Rodrigo, as well.  Unfortunately, things didn't turn out too nicely for Wendy last time.  Her latest film fell into jeopardy when the star revealed a secret to her.

Lipstick Jungle was created by DeAnn Heline and Eileen Heisler, based on the novel by Candace Bushnell.  The dramatic comedy was renewed for a second season last April, with 13 episodes being scheduled.

“Chapter Ten: Let It Be” airs tonight, October 8, on NBC at 10pm.  Also appearing on the episode are actors David Norona, David Alan Basche, and Paul Blackthorne.
