Tonight's season finale of TLC tattoo series and Miami Ink spin-off LA Ink has Hannah Aitchison returning to Chicago for her family commitments, and Kat Von D fretting about whether or not she will return.

Fans of the show know that they will eventually have the chance to see how this all turns out as the show was picked up in September for a second season due to the success of the first. However, those who are curious - and in the L.A. area - just might be able to find out on their own.

Hannah's MySpace page lists her current location in Chicago, IL, but that doesn't necessarily tell the whole story. It's been reported before that sometimes the featured artists come in primarily for their taped tattoos, but might spend the bulk of their time elsewhere.

The website for the shop featured on LA Ink – High Voltage, appears to indicate that filming has already begun for the next season. Although their News section first states, “We are thru filming for the time being…” it later continues, “Please Note: On Oct.24th we start filming season 2,” so it sounds like the site might not have been updated in the past couple of weeks, but filming has already begun.

Hannah is still listed as a High Voltage artists, so potentially she might be splitting her time between work and family to continue working with Kat Von D, Corey Miller, Pixie Acia and Kim Saigh.

Local fans might want to check out the shop themselves to see if they can catch a sighting of Hannah. The shop is welcoming walk-ins, although during filming the hours open to the public are limited: Monday-Friday, 9pm-midnight, and Sat & Sun, noon-midnight.

At this time, there haven't been many confirmations of when the new season will air, but Hannah's Myspace indicates there will be new episodes in January, so it's possible fans won't have that long to wait.
