Canadian actress Kirsten Prout was born on September 28, 1990 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She started acting in third grade and while not acting, likes to engage in track and field. Her goal is to enter a university while still pursuing her acting career. Prout is best known for her role in the film Elektra, where she starred alongside Jennifer Garner and Goran Visnjic. Her other notable credits are The Linda McCartney Story, Mindstorm, The Wedding Dress, Twice Upon a Christmas and The Love Crimes of Gillian Guess. In 2006, Prout was cast for the role of Amanda Bloom on the television series, Kyle XY.
