Kim Kardashian 'Keeping Up' With Charitable Activities
Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ second season ended last week, but that doesn’t mean Kim isn’t busy as a bee.  She was recently spotted hosting the white party at the Hamptons, where she joked about being pregnant with boyfriend Reggie Bush’s baby.  She quickly took back her word, saying, “It’s a joke.”

However, there are some things she isn’t joking about, as she recently opened up an auction for a good cause.  Kim Kardashian recently put up her own eBay Charity Auction for the Dream Foundation, an organization which her family is a part of.  She previously dished about their participation in charity events and why they chose the Dream Foundation.

"We are all active members of the Dream Foundation, which grants wishes to terminally ill adults.  My father passed as an adult and the idea of granting a wish to an adult really affected the whole family," Kim previously explained in her blog.  Now, the 27-year-old socialite and entrepreneur created the auction, tagged “Kim’s Closet,” as an avenue to raise funds for the Dream Foundation, America’s first national organization granting dreams to terminally ill adults.

"Starting Thursday, May 29th, at 7 PM Pacific Time, I am launching my first ever eBay charity auction," Kim wrote on her blog.  "I love the Dream Foundation, and as a way to give back, I am offering my fans the chance to bid on some of my outfits, shoes, handbags, and much more, all of which will have part of the proceeds going straight to them."

Kim adds that the auction will start at a low price, saying, "Part of the fun of eBay is getting a good deal, so in the spirit of bidding, I am starting everything at 99 cents with no reserve!"

Other celebrities who support the Dream Foundation include Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Sheryl Crow, Tyra Banks, Fran Drescher, Dianne Warren, Randy Jackson and Rod Stewart, to name a few.
