This week's news roundup includes Kendall and Kylie's new project, Kim and Kanye's recent public outing, and Kim's latest run in with PETA. Read on to find out more.

Kim Kardashian has been attacked by PETA yet again. After being flour-bombed for wearing fur by an animal rights activist during a red carpet event last March, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was criticized for wearing snake skin boots on the streets of Paris earlier this month.

Kim's shoes, a thigh-high Christian Louboutin python boots which sells for  $5,495, are banned from her home state of California. "They'd go well with a Dalmatian-fur coat, which is also illegal to sell in California and immoral to sell anywhere else," PETA spokesperson Wendy Wegner, who was comparing the reality TV starlet to Disney villain Cruella de Ville, told Radar Online.

Kim, on the other hand, appears to be busy with other things these days. She was spotted with her boyfriend Kanye West visiting the Los Angeles Children's Hospital on Friday. NBC LA reports that the couple surprised a teen suffering from Leukemia, and went from to room to visit sick children. The Kardashians were also scheduled to hold a bone marrow registry drive at the hospital.

Meanwhile, sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner are gradually dominating the Kardashian spotlight as they appear on TV, launch their nail polish collections and grace several magazine covers. Now, they're working on a novel inspired by their favorite series The Hunger Games and Harry Potter

"We want to do something so different, something that we really love," Kendall, whose science fiction book is about a pair of sisters 200 years in the future, told E! Online.
