Kim Kardashians and Kanye West are officially married. The couple tied the knot on Saturday at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy in front of a star-studded crowd, which included rapper Q-Tip, former NBA star Scottie Pippen, actor Jaden Smith, model Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.
According to People
, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang as the Keeping Up with the Kardashians
star, who wore a Givenchy haute couture gown, was walked down the aisle by Bruce Jenner. The rapper, who wore a matching Givenchy tux, was reportedly restless and anxious before the much awaited ceremony.
"It was funny how nervous he was," an insider told People. "He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in. It's common for most grooms. I've seen it all before."
This marks Kim Kardashian's third marriage and Kanye West's first. The couple started dating in 2012 and got engaged October the following year. Initial reports suggest that the couple would marry in Paris but instead they opted to have their rehearsal dinner in the City of Light before flying nearly 200 guests privately to Florence, where their baby North was conceived, for the big day.
Rob Kardashian's Exit
No wedding is complete without drama and Kim and Kanye's big day is no exception. TMZ
reports that Rob Kardashian dramatically flew back to Los Angeles just hours before the ceremony began. While it's not clear what prompted Rob to ditch his sister's wedding, TMZ suggests that it had something to do with his weight gain.
"Rob has become so insecure and depressed about his appearance ... he refused to be in the family wedding pics, despite his family's encouragement," a source close to the Kardashian family told TMZ.
Meanwhile, Kim and Kanye have jetted into Ireland for their honeymoon, according to Irish Independent
. The couple arrived by private jet at 3pm today for their five-day honeymoon at an undisclosed location and are expected to fly back to the U.S. on Friday. Kim's mother Kris Kardashian and her husband Bruce also honeymooned in Ireland following their marriage in 1991.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians premieres Sunday, June 8 at 9pm on E!
