As her
Dancing with the Stars debut nears, Kate Gosselin has hardly been doing anything but practice, practice and practice. She's been preparing for the big competition ever since she was cast, from overcoming her fear of the dance floor to changing her hairdo. But does this mean she's forgotten her responsibilities as a mother?

Jon and Kate Plus 8 star has been leaving her kids behind three days a week, thanks to her upcoming television appearance. Their five nannies may be around, but of course they can hardly stand being 2400 miles away from their mother.
The 35-year-old reality TV matriarch even spent about a week far from her Pennsylvania home to promote
Dancing with the Stars. Her kids immediately noticed her glaring absence, making them wonder where she was.
A source told the publication that the children "were asking, 'When is Mommy coming home?'" from time to time. It's natural for them to look for Kate Gosselin, and she obviously can't be around them every second. However, the kids really aren't pleased with what's happening.
Another insider said that the twins Cara and Mady "seem depressed when Kate isn't around." Meanwhile, her sons Aaden, Collin and Joel "got into trouble at school for talking back to teachers."
It really isn't that great to point out every little detail regarding the children's behavior, which isn't even that worrisome at all. We can't expect them to be perfect little angels, can we?
Besides, the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 star believes she can handle it. Kate Gosselin needs to nourish the family and this is how she's chosen to do it. Even a source close to the family knows that the mom leaving the kids isn't all that bad.
