Sister Patterson from Syracuse is an avid Church goer who has three pets, namely a bird, cat and dog. She was never married to the father of her daughter, Tiffany "New York" Pollard, and was actually rumored to be an actress posing as New York's mother for the reality dating games, I Love New York and its sequel.

Sister Patterson is responsible for choosing five out of 20 men she named Mama's Boys to compete for the heart of New York in VH1's I Love New York 2.
