Ahmad Givens, better known as Real to those who’ve seen him in the VH1 reality show I Love New York, is a musician and a data encoder who was raised on a horse ranch in Northern California with his brother Chance, who also appears on the show. Real once had a girl put a hit on him, and was eliminated from I Love New York on its ninth episode, which made him one of final three contestants on the show. His brother, meanwhile, became the runner-up.
Believing that “life is what you make of it,” Real is insanely religious and calls himself a God-fearing man and a “servant of God.” In the show, he was known to be Chance’s more reserved brother, who had shown to be very prone to cry, with or without his brother. He describes himself as kind, loving, adventurous, honest and outgoing and he says people tell him he’s funny. He loves horses and says he still raises Arabian horses in Orange County were he current resides. He also loves to travel and see the great outdoors. He says he has been a musician since he was a kid.
Real appeared as one of 20 contestants in I Love New York 2. This Bachelor-style dating show features Tiffany Pollard, better known as New York, in her quest to find true love. Asked why she loves New York, he says "People think she's this !@#!@, but New York's actually a cool, down-to-earth, smart woman. She's a helluva individual."
Real is one of the 25 contestants in the VH1 reality show I Love Money, which features returning contestants past VH1 reality shows such as Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Rock of Love with Bret Michaels. The 25 compete in physical and mental challenges en route to a grand prize of $250,000.
