The Bro Code is a sacred thing to some.  To others, it is a set of guidelines that can be tossed aside to suit their desires.  However, there is something to be said for the morality involved with Barney Stinson's stringent set of bro-cient (I made this word up just now – feel free to give it whatever meaning you see fit) rules that have been featured on How I Met Your Mother.  These rules allow for much leeway in how one acts.  You can be as promiscuous as you deem necessary, but there are certain absolutes, certain boundaries that simply must not be crossed.  If you strictly adhere to The Bro Code, everything else should fall into place, no matter how depraved your life may seem.  Barney Stinson can attest to this, and he wants you to know the full extent of The Bro Code.  Thankfully for you, The Bro Code is now available for purchase, either in paperback or in audio form (read by Neil Patrick Harris himself).

The Bro Code was written by “Barney Stinson,” aka How I Met Your Mother staff writer Matt Kuhn.  It's 208 pages of exhaustive Bro Codage for your consumption.  But, if I may make a suggestion – purchase the audio version of the book.  This way, you get to hear Barney Stinson speak to you the Code of The Bro directly.  No man knows it better, and if you've listened to that audio excerpt, you know how transformative Barney's preaching can be – it's like going to church and witnessing the greatest, most powerful sermon known to man. 

In fact, I think I'm going to purchase the downloadable audio of The Bro Code right now.  Don't we all need a little guidance in The Way of The Bro sometimes?  If you are wondering what to give your nerdy little brother or your cousin who insists on joining the school marching band for Christmas, simply reach for The Bro Code.  For those who are unlearned in the vaunted Bro Scripture, it will be like walking for the first time.
